Clad Pipe for Marine & Offshore

Titanium and super-duplex liners for seawater, brine, and subsea environments where chloride concentrations exceed 20,000 ppm.

The Challenge

Seawater contains chloride concentrations above 20,000 ppm that aggressively attack carbon steel. Tidal fatigue, wave loading, and subsea pressure create additional failure modes for conventional piping. Solid titanium or super-alloy pipe is cost-prohibitive for large-diameter marine systems.

The ZONX Solution

Marine-grade clad pipes with titanium (TA2/TA9) or super-duplex (2507) liners bonded to high-strength carbon steel outer pipes. DUALSHIELD full-shield dual-seal fittings prevent galvanic corrosion at joints. RSP™ bonding survives thermal cycling between ambient and process temperatures.

Temperature 0 ~ 50°C
Pressure 0.5 – 10 MPa
Media Seawater, brine (Cl⁻ > 20,000 ppm)
CRA Grades TA2 / 2205 / 2507

Typical Applications

  • Seawater cooling systems for power and process plants
  • Offshore platform firewater, North Sea
  • Subsea pipeline retrofit and life extension
  • Desalination plant intake and discharge
