RSP™ — Right Spinning Pressure

ZONX proprietary metallurgical bonding that unites carbon steel strength with CRA corrosion protection — cut it, weld it, bend it, the liner stays put.

How RSP™ Works

Four steps from assembly to verified metallurgical bond

01

Controlled Assembly

Outer carbon steel pipe and inner CRA liner are assembled with a precise interference fit.

02

Spinning Pressure

During rotation, the outer pipe inner wall plastically deforms while the liner elastically deforms.

03

Metallurgical Bond

Elastic recovery after spinning creates a continuous metallurgical bond at the interface.

04

Verified Strength

Bonding force reaches 0.2–16 MPa — far above the API 5LD minimum of 0.3 MPa.

Welding Technology

Welding is the critical link in any clad pipe system. ZONX provides comprehensive welding technical support — specialized WPS/PQR for transition welds, on-site training, and post-weld inspection to ensure joint integrity matches parent metal performance.

  • Clad pipe welding is a critical technology — special procedures ensure both the inner liner and outer base pipe are fully penetrated.
  • Dedicated filler metals and WPS parameters matched to each material combination.
  • Weld joint performance meets or exceeds parent metal requirements.
