Oil & Gas
The Challenge
Crude oil and natural gas contain sulfur, acid, and CO₂ that cause corrosion rates exceeding 1 mm/year. Traditional stainless steel pipes are prohibitively expensive for long-distance pipelines.
The ZONX Solution
CRA Clad Steel Pipe (DURACORE) combines carbon steel strength with corrosion-resistant alloy liners (316L, 825, 625) at 30–50% lower cost than solid alloy pipes. API-5LD certified for oil & gas transmission.

Chemical & Petrochemical
The Challenge
Chemical processing involves highly corrosive media — chlorides, sulfates, acids — that destroy standard carbon steel pipes within months, causing unplanned shutdowns and safety hazards.
The ZONX Solution
Custom-lined pipes with duplex stainless steel (2205), Incoloy 825, or Hastelloy C-276 liners. Bonding strength ≥ 0.8 MPa ensures the liner never delaminates, even under thermal cycling.

Power Generation
The Challenge
Power plants face dual challenges: high-temperature steam corrosion in boiler feedwater systems and flue gas desulfurization (FGD) slurry erosion. Standard pipes last less than 5 years.
The ZONX Solution
Enhanced Stainless Steel Pipe (POWERCORE) with carbon steel outer protection and 310S/316L inner pipes. Withstands temperatures up to 350°C while maintaining corrosion resistance in condensate and desalination systems.

Marine & Offshore
The Challenge
Seawater contains chloride concentrations > 20,000 ppm that aggressively attack carbon steel. Tidal fatigue and subsea pressure create additional failure modes for conventional piping.
The ZONX Solution
Marine-grade clad pipes with titanium (TA2/TA9) or super-duplex liners bonded to high-strength carbon steel outer pipes. Full-shield dual-seal fittings prevent galvanic corrosion at joints.

Water & Infrastructure
The Challenge
Traditional galvanized and ductile iron pipes corrode within 3–5 years, causing rust contamination, high leakage rates (>10%), and frequent maintenance. Replacement costs are substantial for municipal networks.
The ZONX Solution
Lined Stainless Steel Pipe (AQUACORE) provides a food-grade 304/316L inner surface that never corrodes. Service life matches building lifespan. GB/T 17219 certified for drinking water.

Mining & Slurry
The Challenge
Mining slurries and tailings contain chlorides, sulfates, and acids at pH < 2 — destroying carbon steel pipes within months. Western Australia operates slurry pipelines up to 300 km long; corrosion failure is not an option.
The ZONX Solution
Clad pipes with duplex stainless (2205) or super-duplex liners withstand the most aggressive mine waters and slurries. Bonding strength ≥ 0.8 MPa ensures the liner stays bonded under abrasion, pressure, and thermal cycling.
